Sarita Imagined ~ The Blog
Welcome to Sarita Imagined…
I’m so grateful to have you here!
On my site you’ll be able to learn more about my experience with self-publishing (a complete thrill!), my experiences as a highly sensitive person, and of course my book – “Pop Out Loud, First Day of School“!
Currently, I live with my family on the West Coast of Canada. From a young age, I have been fascinated by the art of storytelling. Since becoming a mom, I have recognized the importance of emotional wellness and went on to publish “Pop Out Loud, First Day of School” as my debut children’s book. I am passionate about supporting highly sensitive children and believe the world will change when we can mindfully embrace who we are from a young age. Say hi and follow my journey as a new author @saritaimagined! My book is set to launch on October 7th, 2024 and will be available worldwide.
Here’s what you can expect from “Pop Out Loud, First Day of School”:
Join Jimmy, the popcorn kernel, on his first day of school! On this mindful journey, Jimmy learns to embrace his sensitivity and big feelings, and that hard moments do not have to mean hard days. Written to support highly sensitive children and mental wellness, this book acts as a starting point for discussing emotions. Popcorn pops, cookies crumble, humans feel. It’s who we are, and not only is it okay, it’s something we should be proud of. It makes life deliciously fulfilling!
“Pop Out Loud, First Day of School” offers hope and reassurance for children and parents navigating the rich landscape of sensitivity.“
— Renée D’Souza MC, Therapist for Highly Sensitive People
“Inspiring and encouraging, “Pop Out Loud” is a must read for every Highly Sensitive Child (HSC)!“
— April Snow, LMFT, Licensed Psychotherapist and Author of Find Your Strength: A Workbook for the Highly Sensitive Person
“This is a heartwarming story that shows the value of expressing—and listening to—emotions, especially when they seem big. All children would benefit from hearing this message, not just those who are Highly Sensitive.”
— Rhea Redivo, BSW, MSW, Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist
